Vultus is one year old!

Vultus is one year old! Most startups still take baby steps at this stage, but Vultus is up and running. The team and its ambitions keep growing with a strong, steady pace!

In September, just one year ago, we were still developing our particular niche for fertilization optimization. We started by using drones, and now it's time to move forward with satellite technology! Our mission is to eliminate waste in farming,

and everything we do at Vultus serves this purpose!

If you are familiar with the Swedish start-up scene, you would not have missed Vultus! Among other achievements, they won The International Growth Award at Sweden Demo Day; were nominated as the Best Food Tech Startup at Nordic Startup Awards; won Venture Cup South, and on September 21st are in the Venture Cup National Final 2017!

Vultus uses spectral data to analyze fertilizer need and give recommendations of how to adjust the amount of fertilizer. Fertilizers are the most valuable input for the plants, but up to 60% of them go to waste today.

In the beginning Vultus used drones for the analysis, but, in the long run, it was too expensive both for them and the farmers. They have now started to focus on scaling up the concept using satellite to reach the mass market and have a larger impact on the planet. They will launch the satellite project at the beginning of 2018.

Vultus is now raising money through angels investors for the satellite project.

The campaign is closing at the end of the month!

If you are an investor, hurry up and contact them!
